What Time ARE The Comedy showS?
- Monday - 7p + 8:45p Shows
- Tuesday - 7p + 8:45p Shows
- Wednesday - 7p + 8:45p Shows
- Thursday - 7p + 8:45p Shows
- Friday - 7p + 9p + Late Night 10:15p Shows
- Saturday - 7p + 9p + Late Night 10:15p Shows

Typically we have a 70-90 minute show with 4-5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands.
Late night weekend shows feature rising stars performing shorter sets and you might see up to 30 comics in one show!
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay. Please note the venue is cashless.
IS THIS A 21+ ONLY VENUE?
Yes! The Function is 21+ only. Valid Government Issued ID (I.e. passport, driver's license, CA Real ID, etc.)

How do I BUY Comedy Show TICKETS?
Tickets are available for purchase on our home page at thefunctionsf.com
Sundays through Thursdays are $20 (no added fees!)
Fridays and Saturdays are $25 (no added fees!)
Please note all shows are 21+ and require tickets.
What do you serve at the bar?
We have a full bar with classic craft cocktails, a curated selection of California beer, an extensive French wine collection along with mocktails and small bites.
Is there a two-drink minimum for comedy shows?
Like most comedy clubs, there is a two-drink minimum during comedy shows to help support the bar and wait staff. We have an extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks (including sodas and mocktails) which count towards your minimum.
How can i perform at the function? do you have open mics?
The best way to perform at The Function is to crush it at one of our open mics. Check out our open mic schedule and show the crowd what you got.
