What Time ARE The Comedy showS?
Comedy shows on most nights at at 7p and 8:45p - with some late night shows at 10pm, but check the schedule on our home page at thefunctionsf.com.
Typically we have a 70-90 minute show with 4-5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands.
Other shows feature rising stars performing shorter sets and you might see up to 30 comics in one show!
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay. Please note the venue is cashless.
IS THIS A 21+ ONLY VENUE?
Yes! The Function is 21+ only. Valid Government Issued ID (I.e. passport, driver's license, CA Real ID, etc.)
ARE YOU OPEN FOR HAPPY HOUR?
Yes! The Function is a full bar with a comfy upstairs lounge and a craft cocktail program.
Except on rare occasions, the bar is open to the public before 7pm most days (no tickets required!) with happy hour until 6:30pm.

How do I BUY Comedy Show TICKETS?

What do you serve at the bar?
Full bar, classic craft cocktails, beer, and extensive French wine collection, happy hour + drink specials
Is there a two-drink minimum for comedy shows?
Like most comedy clubs, there is a two-drink minimum during comedy shows to help support the bar and wait staff. We have an extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks (including sodas and mocktails) which count towards your minimum.
How can i perform at the function? do you have open mics?
The best way to perform at The Function is to crush it at one of our open mics. Check out our open mic schedule and show the crowd what you got.
